The brief
A weekend house for a family of five, on a site with no road access during the snow months.
Our approach
The house is built from prefabricated spruce panels, assembled on site in nine days. A charred timber façade lets it recede among the trunks.
Inside, one long room runs the length of the plan, with a wood stove at its centre.
