The brief

Over the years the rooms had been divided again and again, and they had lost their proportions.

Our approach

We reopened the enfilade of three rooms and set new joinery in smoked oak against the original mouldings. One warm grey covers the walls and ceilings.

Lighting is low and indirect, so the rooms feel different at every hour of the day.
